Hello Everybody!!!! Welcome to my blog!!  Now, i will Description of Fatahillah Museum.


      Fatahillah Museum has the official name of the Jakarta History Museum is a museum located on Jakarta Taman Fatahillah No. 1, West Jakarta. This building was once the city hall of Batavia which was built in 1707 until 1712 at the behest of the Governor General Joan van Hoor.
      The objects that can be found in this museum include the history of Jakarta, the relics of the Tarumanegara and Pajajaran relics, the results of archaeological excavations in Jakarta, antique furniture from the 17th to 19th centuries, which are a blend of European style, the People's Republic of China, and Indonesia. There ae also ceramics, pottery, and stone insriptions. These collections are in various spaces, such as the Jakarta Prehistory Room, Tarumanegara Room, Jayakarta Room, Fatahillah Room, Sultan Agung Room, and Batavia Room.
       There are also various collections of Betawi culture, numismatics, and pedicabs. Even now the statue of the God of Hermes is also placed (according to greek mythology, is a god of luck and protection for her merchants) which was located at the intersection of Harmoni and Si Jagur cannon which is considered to have magical powers. In addition, at the Fatahillah Museum there is also a former underground prison that was once used in the dutch colonial era.
